[ Photoshop ] Pulsating heart

Hello, in this tutorial, I'll show you how to make a pulsating heart in photoshop.

First go to the custom shape tool and pick the heart, and drag across the canvas until you got a heart that looks good to you. Don't forget to choose a color you like too. Change that layer's name to heart.



After that, right click on the heart layer. Select blending options, and copy the values and what not as you see in the following pictures.









Now, the next step goes according to your photoshop version. Photoshop 7.0 and below, click on the jump to Image ready button. Photoshop 7 and up, click on the windows tab at the top of the screen, then make sure the animation window is activated.

Once there, make sure you duplicate the frame.

After that, duplicate the heart layer. And on the duplicate layer, click on the eye next to the bevel and emboss with the second frame still selected.





Then click the first frame again, and click on the tween button.




Make sure it says tween with the next frame and creates 7 frames and click ok.

Then click on the last frame and click tween again but this time make sure it says, tween with first frame.
Results should look like this:

well I have gimp, and corel paint shop pro- or something like that.. either way I wouldnt be able too xx]

Wish I had photoshop, stuck with good old gimp.

You should get, like I said above, its worth it. Plus I think it has lots more tools and options than gimp.
